Nina, a seventeen year-old beautiful native of the
ancient island of Mazin, learns that she has been chosen by the loving Goddess
Inana, to perform an ominous task. A darkness hovers above her home village of
Yuli, bringing with it a deadly disease that drives otherwise peaceful people
to destroy each other.
Nina’s greatest challenge is in convincing the
villagers that the beguiling power-crazed sorcerer visiting Yuli, is not the savior he claims to be. As she
struggles to warn those who are falling under Oscuridad’s hypnotic spell, she
fights her own exasperating attraction to him.
